Be bright.

Be the sunshine on someone else’s cloudy day.

When at a gathering, be the reason someone wants to stay.

Take chances, be adventurous, laugh, dance, play, and sing.

Learn as much as you can, but don’t try to know everything.

Be humble and kind and listen to other views,

Be understanding and accept that it’s not all about you.

Enjoy nature, take in the scenery, thank God for His creation.

Obey the law, respect your elders, and pray for this great nation.

Stop at lemonade stands, car washes, fund raisers, and sales.

Smile at babies, appreciate flowers, and laugh at wagging tales.

Volunteer at church, a humane society, or a school.

Help a young mother, an elderly parent, and remember the golden rule.

Don’t wallow in self-pity, be generous, and don’t gloat over success.

Be gentle in correction, love your neighbor regardless, and let God take care of the rest.

Thank the postman, leave the server a tip, and say hi to the person in the street.

Go on vacation, take a drive to the ocean, take a walk, or go on a retreat.

Life has no guarantees, tomorrow is not promised, your world could soon be shaken.

Be present and kind to those you love, for you do not know when they will be taken.
