So many sorrows, so many tears, so many unmet plans.

So many losses so many changes it’s hard to understand

the way life changes without warning or notice.

The sting of loss makes it hard to find solace.

Life keeps on going but its throwing punches, I need to stop and breathe.

I need to take the time to reflect, some time to just receive

the goodness in life that still exists, the gift and joy of love

the beauty in nature surrounding me, the give that comes from above.

So sing a song, do a dance, take a walk or a ride

Take note of the miracles surrounding you and let it warm you inside.

Whatever your struggles or burdens, whatever is weighing your heart,
